Our story

Hi, I’m Joseph Peck, Owner of Best Interest Lending - you can call me Joe. Thanks for checking us out! Almost 20 years ago I started in the mortgage industry and fell in love with the idea of helping people navigate the largest financial transaction of most our lives - a home purchase.

Through the years and numerous positions I have held in the industry, I’ve learned that buying a house is not a “one size fits all” experience. On our way out for an evening date, before we were married, my wife, Abby, asked what my career goals were. I responded, “I want to influence change on an institutional level in the mortgage industry”. After hearing what sounded like the opening to a thesis, and confirming there are maybe a handful of positions in the industry with that level of influence, Abby suggested “can’t you just help people?”. It was from that conversation that the dream of owning my own mortgage company started.

Best Interest Lending was born from that dream. A mortgage brokerage that puts the best interest of our clients, partners, and community above all else. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
